Apologies for posting here but I am away from the office.

All sites on our account are down.

Is there a problem with Pitfall?

Some indication of when it may be back up?

Hi Del,

We just checked and the server is up and running okay.  Jarrod did note a high load on the server a bit ago, but he's not sure what caused it because it had already gone down by the time he logged in to research it.  He is still monitoring the server, however.

If you have access to email, you can open a ticket by emailing support@webhsp.com also, if that works better for you.

Hope all is well with you.

Well it's down again now.

This is a bit concerning.  Trying to get away for a weekend and the two times I've looked in the server is down.

Hi Del,

Sorry for the delay in responding to your post.

Yesterday morning we did identify an abusive account on the server that was causing sites not to come up.  Once we suspended that account performance returned to normal, and has been normal since.  We notified the reseller of the account that the script they were running was killing the server, and they have agreed not to run that script again.

We are keeping a close eye on pitfall.  Also recently we implemented Apache mod_security on the server which has significantly reduced the number of exploits.  That should in the long run improve the performance of the server.

Best Regards,

~John
