There was an older thread that touched on this subject, but it said it was over 120 days old so i figured I'd start a new thread...

I am having a ton of issues regarding the script library in CPanel. Whenever I go to check out a new script, for example today I checked out the b2evolution blog script and this is the error I get...

---------------------------------------------------

This is a cPanel packaged module. (v0.1)

Website http://b2evolution.net/

Documentation

Support

[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]
YAML READ ERROR:

Failed to load YAML document from string at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/cPAddons.pm line 2492

[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]
YAML READ ERROR:

[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]
YAML READ ERROR:

Failed to load YAML document from string at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/cPAddons.pm line 2492

-------------------------------------------------------

Undaunted I try to install the script anyway and it puts the files in the correct folder but it doesn't do anything in mysql and gives me the following error...

[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive][a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]
Error while connecting to MySQL. Failover enacted.
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]

With the above errors above it. This does this for any script I try to install. My server resides on frogger and so far this has beent he only bad experience I have had with Venturesonline/Data393/Web HSP since I joined up. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Reno,

The problem has been resolved. It appears that the upgrade to the latest cpanel caused the problem, as cpanel has change the way the it stores data once the script has been installed. This error will only occur with existing users that have already setup scripts. What happened is all the .yaml files stored in /home/[yourusername]/.cpaddons lost ownership.

I'm currently working to resolve this serverwide. Smiley

Thanks.
