Are the Cpanels going to be updated to WebHSP panels to include the items included in WebHSP Cpanels or are they keeping the incomplete Cpanels from Data393? I get questions from some of my clients asking about some of the missing items in their Cpanels.

Thanks

I would like confirmation if WEBHSP are going to update to latest Cpanel. I would really like to get hold of Zend Optimiser which I believe comes with the latest distribution of Cpanel.

Hi guys,

Sorry I missed this post...I thought I was set up to get notified of all posts, but I guess not...I'll just have to be more diligent.

Anyway, I thought Zend Optimizer was installed on the servers.

You can tell by typing the following command into a web browser:

http://serverURL/phpinfo.php

Example: Battlezone
http://battlezone.vosn.net/phpinfo.php

If Zend Optimizer is not installed, you can open a support ticket and request it. I believe they can also put a phpinfo.php page on your site. Someone smarter than me may be able to explain how to do it.

-----------------------------
We will be keeping the cPanel versions up to date, but don't plan on rolling out blanket updates.  We will most likely update one at a time so if there are any problems we don't impact everyone at once.  We will be evaluating cPanel versions and reviewing for updates once the acquisition work settles down a bit.

I hope this helps.

jumpdawg, are you referring to the control panel skin?  I had forgotten we had custom skins awhile back.

If so, just open a ticket and ask our techs to change you to the 'x' theme.  I believe that theme is kept up-to-date and matches what is in our Demo Center.

If you are referring to something else, let me know so I can get an answer for you.

I have seen the listing of items available on Cpanel on Web HSP webpage.  I was wondering if our current Cpanels would be updated?  I would like to add Oscommerce to mine as I will switching to this cart.  It sure would save me a headache coming up.  Can I get it added through a help ticket?

Maybe the differences in our actual Cpanel and what is listed on WebHSP showing the features or options of Cpanel is what jumpdawg was refering to?

Thanks!

Hi Kraig,

Aha!!! I found it.  There is a separate setting for add-on scripts.

Which server are you on?.  I thought OScommerce was included with the old packages, but apparently they were either turned off or changed in one of the updates.  Then again, they say memory is the second thing to go..

I'll try to find some time to update the servers for that, but it might be a few days. If you let me know which server you're on I can take care of it in a few.

Thanks

Hi Pat,

I am currently on Varsity right now.  I am not in a hurry right now but if you give me a time frame I can adjust my schedule for development.

Thanks!

Okay Kraig, check your control panel under add on scripts and see if it shows up.

Thanks
