I have a BR3000 reseller account and would like to split off one of my websites to its own shared cPanel account prior to transferring ownership of the domain and shared account to someone else.  The site uses some PHP, a MySQL database. and has several email accounts.  Is this kind of transfer fairly easy seeing as both would be cPanel?

Hi Chessie,

That should be no problem at all, we can simply disassociate the resold domain from your reseller package, thereby having them become one of our clients directly.  If you would like to get started on this, please log a ticket in our helpdesk via the Customer Control Center (http://ccc.webhsp.com/) with all of the relevant details and we will be happy to get started on it for you.

If you have any further questions before proceeding, feel free to ask them!

Sounds easy enough.  Will the fact that I have my own nameservers on the BR3000 account create any issues?  I'm sure I'll need to change them for the domain.

Hi again Chessie,

Yes, they would need to change their name servers if they were to be removed from your reseller account.  We would also have to move them from our reseller servers to one of our normal, shared hosting account servers as well, but beyond that, nothing else should be done on their end.

We would, of course, setup a billing profile for them in our Customer Control Center, and after that last step has been finished, the move will be completed.

If you've got any other questions, feel free to ask!
